About Louise Tjernqvist

For years, I believed discipline was the answer. As a former elite swimmer on the Swedish National Team, I pushed hard, followed every rule, and lived like a machine. But even at the peak of my athletic career, I felt disconnected from my body. I ignored the whispers - thought I could outsmart it with even more hard work - and kept going. That’s what high performers do, right?

After retiring from competitive sport and entering the world of health and fitness, I thought I’d finally found balance. I became a personal trainer, then a nutritional coach. But the same patterns crept back in: overdoing, second-guessing, feeling like I was doing everything right - and still, something was off. I felt the discomfort of slowing down, the frustration of not getting the results I worked so hard for, and the confusion of being told I was “fine” when I knew I wasn’t.

Motherhood cracked me open. It forced me to face what I’d spent years trying to run from…

I was overwhelmed, burned out, and detached from my body. That’s when my real healing began. Through nervous system regulation, functional medicine and energy work, I finally connected the dots. I realised the missing link wasn’t more willpower - it was understanding how stress and trauma had shaped my biology.

Today, I help other high-achievers who feel stuck, anxious and exhausted - the way I once did, to come back home to themselves. My approach is rooted in science, but led by intuition. I’ve worked in integrative medicine for 18 years, but it wasn’t until I discovered the nervous system that everything truly clicked.

If you’re tired of pushing and ready to feel like yourself again - I’m here.
