  • Let me ask you this: is being healthy on your to-do list?

    What I mean is… are you always doing things to stay healthy? The diet, the testing, the biohacks, the supplements, the meditation, the workouts? You tick every box and yet you are still not feeling better.

    Here is the missing piece. You are not being. You are not allowing the body’s own intelligence to unfold and do its work for you. Instead you are still in control, still micromanaging every detail, still unable to lean back and trust your body.

    And if that feels true for you, it is completely OK. There is a reason you are holding on so tightly.

  • Many of my clients are strong-willed, disciplined and full of determination. These are beautiful qualities, but when it comes to healing stored trauma in the body, they will not take you where you need to go. In fact, they can sometimes get in the way.

    Trauma work does require commitment, but it is a commitment to self-compassion and to courage that comes from the heart. You cannot biohack or push your way through the vagus nerve. If it were possible, I would not be doing the work I do today.

    True healing is not a job for the mind. We are designed to hold and release stored emotions through the wisdom of the heart and body.

  • Cold exposure and breath work come in many shapes and forms - they can be great regulation tools for many people, however if you are doing them for an instant regulation of your nervous system to feel better in the present moment and over time are still wondering why you are still feeling anxious or fall back into old habits you might just be managing this on the surface not what is at a deeper level, at the root cause. Important when we use these tools we need to stay within our window of tolerance & safety, grow capacity over time so the body still feels safe if we want to heal at the nervous system level and get at the root cause…

    This takes time and patience.
