Nervous System & Nature Retreat

March 13-15 2026, in Leksand, Dalarna

Step away from the noise. Step back into your body.

This three-day retreat is for the daily performer who senses their energy wearing thin, the leader carrying too much, or the creative who knows how to do more, but is longing to learn how to do less. If stress, overwhelm, or a racing mind are taking over your life, this retreat gives you the tools to reset at the root. Your nervous system.

We work with the framework of traditional Chinese medicine’s five elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal, which map patterns in your energy, nervous system, and stress response. In this retreat, we’re focusing on the Water and Wood elements:

  • Water: For low energy, poor sleep, or feeling stuck physically and emotionally. You’ll reconnect with your body’s natural rhythms and learn to release fear-based tension.

  • Wood: For overdriven, anxious, or controlling patterns. You’ll learn to slow down, trust your instincts, and respond from a grounded, resilient place rather than fight-or-flight.

From Human Doing to Human Being

You may have tried doing everything right: sleep hacks, nutrition plans, mindfulness apps… yet your body still feels like it’s working against you. What if I told you effort might not be the answer? This retreat supports you in regulating your nervous system and awakening your body’s innate capacity to heal. Allowing you to feel grounded, resourced, and clear, without sacrificing your drive.

Who this is for:

  • High performers who feel exhausted, wired, or “stuck,” despite doing all the “right” things

  • Anyone ready to understand and work with their stress response, not just push through it

  • Those wanting to reconnect with their body, restore energy, and reclaim control over their nervous system

  • People who’ve tried wellness trends and recovery routines but still feel drained

You’ll walk away with:

  • Practical tools to manage stress, improve sleep, and pause effectively in daily life

  • A clear understanding of your body’s signals and how to work with, not against, your nervous system

  • A deeper sense of trust in yourself, your resilience, and your ability to recover

  • Feeling resourced, hopeful, and ready to move forward without burnout dictating your pace

Held in the quiet beauty of Molnbyggen Strand in Dalarna, this retreat unfolds beside forest, water, and under the beautiful Swedish sky. You’ll move between workshops, sauna, stillness, and simple nourishing meals, with time to breathe, feel, and soften back into yourself. Most people leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply grounded, sleeping better, thinking less, and trusting their body again.

This isn’t a retreat where you’re “on” all the time. We move between workshops, nature, rest, and integration. Sessions are practical and embodied (not lectures) with space to feel, reflect, and let things land.

Meet Your Retreat Host

Louise Tjernqvist is a former elite swimmer on the Swedish National Team, Olympic medallist, and integrative health expert with over 18 years of experience in functional medicine, nutrition, and nervous system regulation. Having lived the high-intensity, high-achievement lifestyle herself, Louise knows what it’s like to feel stuck, anxious, and exhausted - even when “doing everything right.”

Her work blends science, trauma-informed practices, and energy-based methods to help high performers reconnect with their bodies, understand their stress response, and regain sustainable energy and balance. At this retreat, you’ll be guided by someone who’s been there and now helps others return home to themselves, fully resourced and capable of thriving.
